Whether
you enjoy an occasional libation or just prefer a glass of
water - everyone should visit the Old Faithful Inn’s Bear Pit
lounge.
The
room’s wood décor is well crafted and hosts a variety of
etched designs. The bar is flanked by exceptional sand blasted
glass panels that portray animals in a variety of lounge
activities. They’re reproductions of the original sand blasted
wood panels that hung in the Inn’s earlier, post prohibition,
bar.
I’m
not a regular customer, but I’ve spent time in the bar. On one
such occasion, my wife and I caught sight of a chipmunk. He
was a busy little fellow, running back and forth between the
rear exit door and the bar —undetected by anyone but us. From
our vantage point it was difficult to tell what he was up too,
but we ventured a guess he’d found the bar’s stash of nuts.
